This is my first blog post since getting my website redesigned and I have to say it’s been a brilliant learning experience. Although my last website served me well and got my message out there I always thought the general appearance was a little amateurish and didn’t reflect the level of professionalism I strive to provide. So I decided a rebuild was needed to kick off 2013 in the correct manor.
I put a request out there in facebook land to see if any of my friends would have the necessary skills to help me achieve what I had in mind for the site and sure enough my friend Daniel O’Connor came up trumps and has done a tremendous job with the site and it is exactly as I would have envisaged. He also got me in touch with a photographer called Henning Koestler ( http://
So what did I learn
- By placing your trust in people with greater skills than you in certain areas, frees you up to focus on your own skills
- Surround your self with professionalism and people passionate about what they do and things will always work out great
- Ask for help, because there is a great chance you will get what you need. If you put your head down and don’t ask anyone for anything you will usually progress at a very slow pace
I hope you get some value out of the site and the blog. Please feel free to comment with any thoughts or comments you may have on any of the topics I discuss.
All the best,
